Closed-toe shoes are a must for axe throwing. We also highly recommend loose fitting clothing to allow your body a full range of motion. Save the gun show for the beach.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not appear mature enough. Having said that, age 14 and older may participate with a signed waiver. For the safety of those 13 and younger, we request that they are not in the axe throwing arena. No worries, simply get an arcade game card or a two-hour pass for your kiddos.
Yes, we encourage your online signature on our waiver from the comfort of home. This is especially important for minors who need a parent or guardian signature but will be accompanied by another adult, such as friend’s parent.
We encourage everyone to chuck axes. However if seating is available we will allow nonthrowers to sit back, tip a cold one and watch at no charge as long as we’re under our maximum capacity.
Yes. There is a flat charge for the use of a private lane, which is $115/hour for up to 5 people. Otherwise walk in lanes are communal.
No axe-cuses will alter your reservation, which will start and end as originally scheduled. If you arrive late, your end time stays the same. Please get here 20-30 minutes early for check in.
Life happens and things change, we get it. We may allow you to reschedule based on the circumstances and at least 48 hours’ notice. No shows will be charged full price because your axe-pert and your lane were waiting for you.
Nope. And there’s no need. You can grab a drink and a snack at Amp Up’s Trackside Tavern before heading into our axe throwing arena.
Our insurance guy says no. We provide two types of approved axes/hatchets for our guests to use.
Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated. Our throwing coaches will do their best to make your experience fun and exciting. If you don’t have cash, your axe-pert can run a credit card.
